Contract

Once the client has agreed for work to commence, this is understood as a contractual agreement between Saturday Sun Web Design and the client. Payment of advanced fees (deposit) indicates that the client agrees with the terms and conditions presented on this page.

Copyright Responsibility

The client remains fully responsible for the copyright of the material that they provide for their particular project. Saturday Sun Web Design will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement that occurs as a result of using materials transmitted to us by the client. Images provided by Saturday Sun Web Design either come from a Royalty free / copyright free source or from a stock image company that is purchased under a single license from the supplier.

Search Engine

Saturday Sun Web Design is not responsible for permanent web site promotion. Google works on the principles of fair play and fair access to natural search results, therefore a particular placing is never guaranteed. If the client wishes to have a constant promotion campaign then this should be set up under another contract and agreed too.

Cancellation

If a project is cancelled at any time the client remains liable for the work that has been produced so far and will be charge accordingly.

Providing Web Content

The production of any design project is reliant upon teamwork and communication. Therefore the client is responsible for providing the content material (images, text etc.) to us. This material needs to be presented in an accessible manner (word documents, universal image formats such as jpg, png). If the client fails to produce relevant material within 30days of the project beginning we reserve the right to close the project and any remaining balance becomes payable immediately.

Post-agreement changes

Should the client decide that changes are needed to the project after the project has already been agreed to and started, these changes will be accepted on the understanding that they could potentially incur additional charges (depending upon the nature of the change).

Payment

As of September 2013 a deposit of 30% must be made prior to the starting of any project. The full amount of any project must be made within 30 days of receiving the final invoice.

Completion

A design project is accepted by the client as being fully functional and complete once payment is made. Additional support may be provided at a negotiated rate, this should be agreed to with separate contract. Saturday Sun Web Design is not responsible for future support.

In agreement of these terms and conditions your statutory right remain unaffected. Saturday Sun Web Design reserve the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
